The short version
- We only collect what you send us, through the contact form or by email, and we use it to reply to you.
- This site sets no cookies. Cloudflare processes request data such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site.
- We never sell your data. Cloudflare, our own mail server and Google (Gmail, our team inbox) handle it on our behalf.
- We keep enquiries for up to 24 months. Email us any time to see, fix or delete yours.
Who we are
DevWizard (“we”, “us”) is a software development team based in Bangladesh. This policy covers devwizard.net and the enquiries you send us through it.
What we collect
When you send the contact form, we receive the details you enter:
- Name
- Companyoptional
- What you need
- Budget
- Timeline
- Project details
- How you heard about usoptional
We don’t ask for anything else. There are no accounts on this site, and browsing it doesn’t require you to tell us who you are.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
How we use it
We use your enquiry for one purpose: to reply to you about it. That includes asking follow-up questions, sending a scope, quote or retainer plan, and continuing the conversation you started.
We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t use your details for advertising.
Services that handle your data
These services process data on our behalf to run the site:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and runs the function that receives the contact form. To serve and protect the site, Cloudflare processes request data such as your IP address.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks contact form submissions for spam.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, if enabled, provides cookieless, aggregate traffic figures.
- Our own SMTP mail server delivers your enquiry to the team inbox as an email.
- Google (Gmail) hosts our team inbox, where enquiries and our replies are stored.
Their handling of data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
GitHub avatars
Profile pictures on this site (team members, contributors, project owners) load from avatars.githubusercontent.com. When your browser loads them, GitHub receives a standard web request, which may include your IP address, and may log it. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. After that we delete them.
If you become a client, the project agreement covers how we keep project records.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- See the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete your enquiry and our emails with you.
Email [email protected] from the address you used to contact us, and we’ll confirm once it’s done.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
