The problem

Product tutorials get recorded in one rushed take, with no agreed story, script or audio. We wanted a repeatable pipeline that interviews the author, gets approvals at each stage and ends in a rendered, captioned video.

What we built

What we built

Claude Video Studio is a set of Claude Code skills and agents with an orchestrator that runs a fixed order with approval gates: source mode and discovery, brief interview, story, script, speaker lines, build, compose and QA.

  • Discovery that crawls a URL or reads screenshots, lists every screen and interviews the author per screen.
  • A brief, story and script that the author approves before anything is captured.
  • Speaker lines with an audio file prepared for each supported text-to-speech tool.
  • A Playwright capture runner with cursor, ripple and highlight effects, per-field blur masking and cue-based sync to the audio.
  • A Remotion template with a browser frame, zoom, step chips, captions and tooltips, plus a QA reviewer agent. Deliverables are MP4, SRT, VTT and a thumbnail.

How it was built

It installs through the Claude Code plugin marketplace and needs Node 20 or newer, ffmpeg 4.4 or newer and Python 3.9 or newer. It works for any product and any language, and it was built and proven on Bangla tutorials.
